1. Agreement
These terms govern your use of Secure It on Android, iOS, Windows and in web browsers (the “App”), provided by Talha Aslam (“we”, “us”). By installing or using the App you agree to them. If you don’t agree, don’t use the App.
2. Licence
When you buy the App on Google Play you receive a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use it on your own devices. Your purchase includes the Windows app and the browser extension, which are unlocked by activating them from the Android app with the Google account you use for Drive sync.
You may not resell, sublicense, share activations with other people, or attempt to bypass the licence checks, reverse engineer, or modify the App, except where the law expressly allows it.
3. Your data and your responsibility
Secure It is zero-knowledge: your vault is encrypted on your devices and we never receive your passwords, master password or recovery phrase. This also means we cannot recover or reset them.
You are responsible for keeping your master password, 12-word recovery phrase and Emergency Kit safe. Losing all of them means losing access to your vault.
If you enable Google Drive sync, your encrypted vault is stored in your Google account, subject to Google’s own terms.
4. Payments and refunds
Purchases are processed by Google Play. Refunds are handled under Google Play’s refund policy. If a purchase is refunded or reversed, access to the Windows app and browser extension ends when the current licence expires.
5. Acceptable use
Use the App only for lawful purposes and only to store credentials you are entitled to use.
6. Updates and availability
We may update the App to add features, fix issues or improve security. Features that depend on third-party services (such as Google Drive or app stores) may change if those services change.
7. Disclaimer
The App is provided “as is” and “as available”. While we work hard to keep it secure and reliable, we do not guarantee that it will be uninterrupted or error-free. Keep your recovery phrase and backups so you can always recover your vault.
8. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, or for loss of data or access arising from lost master passwords or recovery phrases. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the App. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer-protection laws that cannot be excluded.
9. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. Material changes will be posted on this page with a new “Last updated” date. Continuing to use the App after a change means you accept the updated terms.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Pakistan, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, except where your local consumer-protection laws apply.
